Who is your typical client?

We work with clients who come from all over the world as well as all walks of life. Some are 15 years old, others are 35 years old. They include Ivy League students with 4.0 GPAs, boarding school students who are failing out of school, professionals at top companies and law firms. We thrive on the fact that each client has unique circumstances for whom we can create and execute highly customized coaching programs.

Are you a tutor?

No. Tutoring is based on reinforcing the subject matter taught in schools (the “what”). On the other hand, LP3 Coaching is focused on teaching a methodology (the “how”) so that the client can learn any material based on his/her learning style, needs and interests (the “why”).

Are you a therapist?

No. LP3 Coaching does not attempt to replace conventional therapy.  If you are in need of a therapist, referrals can be available upon request.

Does coaching require a long-term commitment?

No, the intention for LP3 Coaching is not that our clients become wholly dependent on us but rather that they develop the requisite skills and soar on their own.
 
Depending on your needs and goals, we offer everything from one-day intensives if you want to get it all done in one day, week-long bootcamps and private coaching. Typically, for private coaching, clients sign up for at least a 12 week program, which may meet 2x/month, with each session lasting 1-2 hours.
 
We can meet however often or however long is needed to keep you moving forward.  If certain weeks you require more hours, we will spend as many hours as it takes. If other weeks you require less time or your schedule is packed, we are happy to do quick check-ins.

Why does coaching work? Does it work for everyone?

Coaching can work for two reasons: (1) It blocks out time and mind space to invest in yourself and (2) Having a coach keeps you accountable to implementing those changes.
1. Investment. In school and in the workplace, we endlessly analyze and plan. (As a lawyer, I can’t tell you how many late nights I spent doing due diligence on companies my clients were looking to acquire but never did.) But we rarely invest that time and energy in analyzing and planning our own lives. Coaching is an investment in your health, happiness and choices. Ours is a highly personalized one-on-one service that delivers invaluable self-knowledge and a transformation journey that endures, based on our values, purpose and goals.
 
2. Accountability partner. To become the best version of yourself may require you to re-frame your perspective, redefine your priorities and engage in new routines. Similar to personal training, having someone who can guide you step-by-step through that process and to whom you are accountable motivates you to implement and follow through.

Do you provide coaching in-person or virtually?

Both! As LP3 Coaching clients live all over the world – currently, US, Asia and the Middle East - we work with clients over Skype and in-person as needed. If you would like in-person coaching, please let us know where you are located.

How do I know you will be a good coach for me?

Accepted Answer

Coaching is a partnership – so fit is very important. I have yet to meet a client who I cannot build a strong relationship of trust and openness.  I am passionate about what I do and will be unrelenting in helping you make whatever change(s) you want - in your academics, career, relationships and life generally.
