Parents guide
Tired of being a tiger parent?
LET US BE the tiger SO YOU CAN BE THE PARENT.
Parents share that the hardest part of trying to help their struggling child is that they end up being a task manager. We understand that you would rather spend quality time with your child.
Let us save you time and frustration. Let us help you support your child.
We can figure this out together!
Top REASONS WHY PARENTS CONTACT US
Academic Issues: Your son or daughter is struggling in school or with standardized tests. You’ve hired tutors and now your child is over-scheduled with tutor after tutor. And it's still not working. You no longer want to spend most of the time with your child being the homework police, task manager or nagging parent.
Stress Management: More young people are feeling overwhelmed, anxious or even burnt out. Even if your child is doing well academically, he or she may be suffering (sometimes quietly) from social pressures, past traumatic experiences or self-imposed expectations/perfectionism.
Help with Transitioning: Your child is entering a new school, the college application process, college or the real world. The process is often overwhelming and can consume the entire family.
Finding Direction in Life: Perhaps your son or daughter wants to succeed but does not know what makes them tick or feels lost or stuck.
Communication Gaps: Sometimes, young people just need an impartial third party who is not a parent, teacher or even peer with whom they can share and get sound advice in a safe environment. Our goal is to foster a strong and healthy parent-child relationship.

-
How much will it cost? This depends on the type/frequency of coaching program. Please get in touch to discuss the fees for your customized program.
-
Are bootcamps in person? Will you travel to meet my child?Yes. As bootcamps are intensive weekly programs, they are best done in person. Typically, families will fly me in to do the week-long bootcamp and then follow up with sessions over Skype, as necessary.
-
As a parent, how will I know what's going on in the sessions?"Parents are an integral part of the coaching process and one of our goals is to ensure there are open channels of communication between parent and child. At regular intervals, we will have parent check-ins, in which we can discuss what you as parents can do to best support and ensure a healthy relationship with your child.
